Killer Is Dead
NeverDead
Prototype
Red Faction: Armageddon
Red Faction: Guerilla
Sega Superstar Tennis
Despite their mostly mixed reviews, I am still tempted to buy them. I would, however, like some feedback from the community. Are there any I should definitely get? Any I should definitely avoid?
Enchanted Arms is a pretty decent grid-based, enemy-collecting, turn-based RPG. That collecting factor can really suck a lot of time out of you if it is your thing.

I would suggest the Killer is Dead. It is Suda 51 and yes the game has its mechanical flaws, but I really enjoy his style and the games are overall enjoyable.

Sega Superstar Tennis will give you the fix you need for Mario Tennis.....but....it just isn't the same and doesn't feel right in terms of controls.

I agree the controls are pretty mushy but otherwise it's a tennis version of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing. A good cheap pick up

Just perusing Craigslist, etc. today and thought to myself: why doesn't any sell any GOOD games lol. I mean I like sports titles and some of the other stuff that sells like hot cakes, but you never see a run of the mill non-gamer selling anything other than sports, rock band, GTA, or cod it seems like. Maybe they just never bought those other games in the first place.....

My other thought was at what point does it dry up out there in the wild? Like, with all the resellers and collectors out there, there's only so many games in every area. At least 8-bit and 16-bit stuff. I know a lot of people looking for games around here for instance. Eventually there's just not going to be anyone dumping their old ass console and games for $20. Everything will already be in someone's hands. I'm sure there are thousands of games in my area, and I'm also sure thousands of them have been found by myself and other like-minded people. Eventually there won't be any.

I had that same problem but on facebook groups. They ALWAYS sell the same stuff, Assasins creed, CoD, fifa, pes, another cod, god of war, uncharted. Most of my "uncommon games" got them with some patience looking at the pages every single day more than once. But usually it works on my ways and i get very cheap games.

Looks like Eidos Montreal have been working on a new engine:
http://community.eidosmontreal.com/blogs/dawn-engine

Pretty much point blank showcases that they're at work on a new Deus Ex and... I think we did ask for it. hehe

I guess HR and Thief 4 used the Unreal engine? One thing that Thief 4 did right, was the art direction. It definitely looks fantastic and was insanely detailed, making HR look pretty dated honestly. If this screenshot is an indication that they're keeping the gold tint, then hell yeah that's awesome. Both games were fantastic when it came to visuals I'd say, so them having their own tailored engine now will probably be even better. Can't wait for more.

More DX please. Preferably one with the choice of having a female protagonist again. One of the few things IW did well. When you're a badass bioaugmented person it really doesn't matter if you're a boy or a girl.

Wow, I completely forgot that was a thing.

Really the only negative I can give IW was that the engine was terribad... like ultra bad. But everything else was still top notch.

It'll be interesting to see where the next one goes in the timeline.

A) They're keeping the stuff that's less common or more interesting.
B) They traded all the other stuff to Gamestop years ago and this is the stuff they wouldn't even give you 5 cents for because it was year old sports or stuff they had too many copies of.

Your last sentence nails it.

90% of gamers play the same 10 games.

I would flag anybody selling cod. I don't believe you can sell live animals on craigslist.

...well good thing that sale went through without a hitch.

I've never understood why the Altmer in the Elder Scrolls are always so damn ugly. I thought elves were supposed to be lithe and attractive, not jaundiced, pissy, and with the face of a damn bat.
