Time to post this awesome fan trailer again:
Yeah I'd say that the animations are the only thing that are aging it a bit.

Yeah, no joke about Half-Life 2. The Episodes look even better. I'd say it's largely because of the awesome and unique art direction. I can imagine Dishonored will age nicely as well.

I need to post up screenshots of my character. Just imagine a very large, pockmarked, scarred and wrinkled visage. He is naked except for knee high pink go-go boots and a pink Katy Perry wig. And he speaks in a rough australian (english?)(New Zealand?) accent.

The Crew on default settings. So Medium-ish. I haven't bothered playing w/ the graphic settings yet, just wanted to give it a go.

Nice, although im sure youve heard of contemplated this, but i would of went with an i5 just in case of a slight bottleneck.

Your 970 is like twice the power of my HD 7870 lol, i have a i5-2400 fyi.

oh trust me I've spent far too much time contemplating haha. The way it has been was that my specific i3 was on tier 2 of Tom's Hardware CPU hierarchy for gaming. For a long while now, this particular i3 was actually rated better for gaming than many of the i3 models. And the rule of thumb was always that it's not really an upgrade unless you are jumping up 2 tiers. That said, a lot of that was because there's not a lot of games that require 4 (physical) cores. However, MGS Ground Zero recently released requirements of 4 cores. So it is time (again) that I start thinking about upgrading my CPU. Yup. It's one of those "after the holiday" upgrade considerations though. Same can be said for another 8GB of RAM of course. For now though, the boost the 970 has given me has been glorious. Everything I throw at this rig has been no issue on max settings.

EDIT: Yeah the 970 is a beast. I had always planned an eventual GPU upgrade, but it wasn't until I read glowing review after glowing review that I knew I had found my new graphics card. Love it.
