My speed test timed out. I didn't even know it was possible to flunk a speed test.

I'm at work. I'm not going to screw around with my company's firewall right now.s1mplehumar wrote:samsonlonghair wrote:My speed test timed out. I didn't even know it was possible to flunk a speed test.![]()

Re: connection-speeds

Well I am having ISP problems. Of course I have a damn 800 # to call. I though there were laws about advertised speeds and what you accurately get? I know I would not get the 1.5 I pay for all the time but I don't think it should go this low, should be at least 50 %?. I had to call the FCC on these people before because for 10 years the gave me a phone # for a different county that was long distance to the county I lived in. It took a threat just to get a 1.5 DSL line run in 2010 when my dial up would not even stay connected.
Re: connection-speeds
4G Connection speed at my desk on my IPhone 6 is actually faster than my workstations connection currently. Sorry state of affairs for a hosting company! They obviously save all the juicy bandwidth for the customers

I've always had a nice connection at home here in Houston via Comcast the past few years. Here are my results from just now.
