Picked up the PS4 version of the Tomb Raider reboot a couple of days ago. It was on special for Christmas at EB Games (a chain here owned by GameStop) for $47
I'm enjoying it quite a bit so far.

Re: The PS4 thread
Good choice! It's definitely one of my favourite games of the last couple of years and the Definitive Edition is well worth the price in my opinion, even if you own the original.BRIK wrote:Picked up the PS4 version of the Tomb Raider reboot a couple of days ago. Re: The PS4 thread
I agree that Tomb Raider game is one I actually enjoy, other than playing some of Legend which was fine I haven't much liked the franchise since the original. This one on the total package of play, story and the a/v fluff just blows it out of the water. I can't wait for the delayed sequel for the PS4 in another year or whatever as it'll be perhaps more into the classic 'Indy' roots instead of first time self discovery and survival.
Re: The PS4 thread
Agreed! I totally missed it on PS3 for some reason... happy to be playing it now at least. I was looking for something to play on my PS4, but luckily its that time of the year now anyway so we're inundated with new AAA titles.

Glad I don't give a damn about them so there's no flood other than LBP3 which I snapped up. Unfortunately I snapped it up with Diablo 3 and I haven't given it time yet.
I'll get to it, and I'm loving the sackboy plush on my desk.

I'm definitely going to do this, alternating charging two different controllers (with the short cord so you essentially can't be actually playing at the same time) is a pain in the ass.irixith wrote:You'll be surprised at how much that stupid light was eating your battery.Xeogred wrote:I didn't know you could do that. For $9 pre shipping, you can get 32 feet of an active USB extension cable. I have run 70ft of Active USB before with no issues (tethering a camera), instead of the limit of 10ft with passive USB extensions.

Re: The PS4 thread
I haven't run out of battery during a game session on my PS4 yet but it definitely drops down to one bar almost every time I play it and I always have to remember to go plug it in after I play. I really don't know why the battery is so bad. I swear the Wii U gamepad in a lot of instances lasts longer and that has a fairly large screen built in it on top of rumble, gyros, microphone, and speakers.
Older. Not wiser.
