It took my Mother around a year to hand stitch this incredible quilt. This is all her own design, and she did an amazing job. Although she said "Nahhh. Don't do all of that", I'm going to enter it into a few quilt competitions, as it really turned out to be something fabulous.
Awesome quilt man! I love how she used the same color palette throughout the quilt. My mother was a big quilter, but she always used a really strange hodgepodge of colors. My wife always derided her for it when they quilted together!
But, yeah! I love it! It is always the year of Luigi in my heart so I am glad to see him powering through.

(also, awesome quilt )
Only son, and I never played the fiddle.
Thanks!
My Mother has made dozens and dozens of quilts, but this one tried her patience. She loves Amish quilts, which shows in this one, but she had to "go back to the drawing board" a lot.

Thanks BMF. No offense to the ol' stars and bars, but red white & blue (mario, of course) would have been too bright for the room Luigi will be residing in. A bit more of a subtle palette.
Of course I was astonished when I saw the finished product. I didn't expect all the extra details that my Mom added. Didn't expect all the extra design, but boy am I happy with it.
