I also remember it, but I think I only played a demo of it back in the day. I vaguely remember having fun with the demo.MrPopo wrote:Man, no one else knows Lemmings Paintball? My childhood has a sad.

I believe the original game has 120 levels.Erik_Twice wrote: Great to see people beating these games too! How many maps do they have? A hundred? That's really cool.
Be aware that many of the level maps are reused later in the game, but you're given less abilities to assign in the later levels which makes them more challenging.

From the Lemmings DS page link I posted on the previous page of this thread :
Original Lemmings : 120 levels
Oh-No! More Lemmings : 100 levels
Xmas Lemmings '91, '92, '93 and '94 : 72 levels
This wikipedia page also lists all the differences : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... ings_ports
The Nintendo DS homebrew port has the most levels (though none are exclusive and just taken from various expansions, mind you)

Insane number of ports. Hard to think of a game that has more. Tetris? Maybe?

You think so? I can't find a list. Lemmings was on most every 8/16-bit console and corresponding handheld, plus many 8/16-bit computers.

Dragon's Lair was released on every computer of its era, plus some consoles. No, don't ask me why people bought that stuffBoneSnapDeez wrote:You think so? I can't find a list. Lemmings was on most every 8/16-bit console and corresponding handheld, plus many 8/16-bit computers.

Hey not all the Dragon's Lair versions were awful, even one was stunning due to the format. Clearly the FMV versions used on dvd/br players or systems/pcs are fine, but the mind blowing one due to the technical feat of it is the GB Color. They got the whole game short of 6 moves put on a cartridge by dumbing down the visuals to 2bit color for the most part and cutting away at some of the death animations in length.
Re: What's the best Lemmings title?
I'd say Bubble Bobble and maybe even Space Harrier from this month's TR come pretty close. Notice how all these games were featured in TR at some point.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Insane number of ports. Hard to think of a game that has more. Tetris? Maybe?
