Really though, just play what you like ya know? I put about 53 hours into the Wii U version of Ghosts because I'm insane and it was still fun. I like my manly FPS games as much as I like my weird anime bullshit Vita visual novels. I'll buy Treasure Tracker because it looks hella fun and for only $40. Ya'll need to accept other peoples tastes yo.

I thought that was pretty well established already.

It's not meant to be serious. Relax.dsheinem wrote:ugh, this kind of attitude amongst gamers is srsly super annoyingFerretGamer wrote:The masses can have their Call of Duty, I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced at E3.
I probably own more Call of Duty games than the average.

I've waited for a price drop for awhile. It was $40 at one point, much higher than other ports I own (Bat Man: City, Mass Effect, and Deus Ex all under $15). So when I saw the $21 price tag I jumped.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:On the bright side, Darksiders 2, like Need for Speed Most Wanted U, got incredibly small production numbers and so at some point it might go on a rare list. But my memory would have gotten destroyed!
I almost want to buy Watch_Dogs WiiU simply because it's probably going to be extremely hard to find in the future. In the UK charts it was behind FIFA 13 for Wii U which has been out since launch...
I'll be getting Watch Dogs as well. It'll drop in price quickly I fell.

There is no word on the next Mario game for Wii U? and by the next Mario game I mean the usual platformer like Sunshine
I can easily tell you the current selection for Wii U is so much better than whatever was on Wii.BoneSnapDeez wrote: Will the Wii U end up with a stronger first-party line-up than the Wii? I think it's highly possible.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
Based on what? There's still not much at all on the Wii U, certainly not compared to the Wii. Any big name Nintendo franchise on the Wii U also had an an entry (if not two or three) on the Wii, and there are plenty of Nintendo IPs that haven't been on the Wii U yet. Third party games were much better on the Wii, too.RCBH928 wrote: I can easily tell you the current selection for Wii U is so much better than whatever was on Wii.

There is no Endless Ocean game for Wii U yet so you're factually incorrect sir.RCBH928 wrote:I can easily tell you the current selection for Wii U is so much better than whatever was on Wii.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
The Wii U still doesnt have any console style RPG's in the US, unless you count Monster Hunter (which i dont), and the only thing coming out is Xenoblade Chronicles X.
This is very odd for a Japanese console, lack of console style RPG's.

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
A quick look at GameFAQs shows that there aren't any Japanese-developed RPGs on any 8th gen home consoles, with the exception of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Final Fantasy XIV. Both are enhanced versions of older games.
Two terrible-looking Final Fantasy games are slated for release on Xbone/PS4 eventually (2015?). Looks like yet another Compile Heart game will be coming to PS4 as well. Plus Kingdom Hearts. Yippee.
New Xenoblade for Wii U looks amazing. Not much else on the horizon.
As far as JRPGs go these days, handhelds >>>>>>> consoles.

Don't forget Persona 5 for PS3/4.
But yeah, if you want Japanese flavored RPGs you really have to go to handhelds for them. 3DS and Vita have tons of them.
I still think it will be a disservice to the Wii U to not have a Fire Emblem game. If there's one thing touch screens are helpful for it's strategy games, turn based or otherwise.
