Even as a big Jurassic Park fan, Telltales was pretty much nothing but Quick Time Events.dsheinem wrote:Jurassic Park games are still around:
Telltale did one a couple of years ago that I have been meaning to play

yeah the Telltale game if you can call it a game, its more of an interactive movie wasn't very fun. People have put the game up in full on youtube as an actual movie, your better off experiencing it that way.

Cool, that first game you listed is also on PC, game came out just a year ago and seems like a fun premise going after the stolen embryos Nedry dropped. The other I'm not sure how 'fair' it is as far as time/resources go, but it is a FREEgame on Android and IOs so that's encouraging to try that out. Even back then I felt that a SimCity JP style would be fun and this kind of fits that.dsheinem wrote:Jurassic Park games are still around:
There's also the fan-made "Jurassic Park Survival: Enhanced Edition" - though it may still be in a beta...
Xeogred: Interesting, but if it's that way on the first with confusing maze dungeons I'm not interested, but if that second one removed those and refined things nicer that I'd be willing to give a try. The depths I'm willing to stomach on dungeon exporing of mazes stops at Arcana, Phantasy Star, and maybe Orcs n Elves mobile/ds.

Yeah the second game is just straight up Contra. Co-op was possible too and pretty awesome.Tanooki wrote:Xeogred: Interesting, but if it's that way on the first with confusing maze dungeons I'm not interested, but if that second one removed those and refined things nicer that I'd be willing to give a try. I was planning on buying it but now that you mention it...ninjainspandex wrote:yeah the Telltale game if you can call it a game, its more of an interactive movie wasn't very fun. People have put the game up in full on youtube as an actual movie, your better off experiencing it that way.
I hear the story is fantastic but at the end of the day it's not much fun to just play so you're probably right that it's better to just watch it as a film.
Older. Not wiser.

JP2 on SNES is like Contra? Now I'm interested enough to go find some video of that.

Story is decent until the last 25% of the game when the story just completely goes to shit.RyaNtheSlayA wrote: I hear the story is fantastic but at the end of the day it's not much fun to just play so you're probably right that it's better to just watch it as a film.
