(Their review scores are actually not that much worse than those Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis...)

One game I was looking forward to was The Stomping Ground, a kickstarter-ed game about being prehistoric man surviving with the dinosaurs. It played like DayZ with other players roaming the world, trying to survive as they attempt to hunt dinosaurs and take down big game.

Looked great, but the developers kind of disappeared and things are super quiet. A shame.

My room is drowning in my drool. This would be incredible, holy crap.

Let's hope Jurassic World revives the dino interest again a bit.

It's a shame Turok can't be handled well.

Ok, that's money right there (that will be taken from me). Hopefully it will be better than the JPIII game by Konami. Damn that was tough.

I'll say that Jurassic Park for Game Gear was the first video game I owned. I played it SO MUCH when I was young. I also played the first two games on Genesis and thought they were pretty great.

Has anyone played Jurassic Park: The Game by Telltale Games? Telltale is one of those companies I want to like but I've only played their first two "seasons" of Sam & Max and TBH they were on the bland side and haven't inspired me to explore more of their catalog. (Although I do have Tales of Monkey Island sitting in my backlog...) But I know some of their games (The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us at least) have gotten super-great reviews?

I figure I might as well ask but how do you all honestly feel about the JP games the SNES has? I've fired up the first one before but got nowhere but it looked ok.

I loved both games... but to this day, 20 some years later, I have never legitimately finished the first SNES game. I can't believe they didn't have any kind of password/save system in it, it's a bit too big for one sitting unless you know exactly what to do and how to navigate those first person mazes.

The second game was also really weird I think, in that it had a lot of additional stages beyond the level select. But most of the levels had alternate routes and multiple endings. I have no idea, it was really arcadey I guess? Really awesome music though, those Ocean games always had cool music.

Did anyone here play the Jurassic Park Sega CD game? haha. That was one of the few games I owned for my JVC. I remember the disc wasn't too great so it froze a lot or something, crazy loading times if I remember right.

The Telltale JP game isn't good. At all.

You should check out their Walking Dead games though, they play like interactive movies but somehow manage to involve the player emotionally with the pre-determined choices.

Of course! That was one of the few games that made me fall in love with the Sega CD. I remember seeing little FAQs in game magazines for Jurassic Park, Dune and Supreme Warrior that made me think, "This is the most amazing thing ever!"
