It really is. Princess Toadstool: "Oh, you're climbing back onto the platform? MY ASS IN YOUR FACE!!"
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Seemed like a Doom night. So I played some Doom.

Always feels good.

well those are prob the best 2 in the series. If you want to play a "real" RE game, play REmake. If you want to play an RE action game, play RE4. They're both great though. I'd personally recommend doing 1 then 4.
I agree with noise's suggested order. REmake is in the old style, and RE4 is more modern, so try the older one first to see if you can get a feel for it.

So i was playing mirror of fate a few days ago and while is far from a bad game there's something really missing in this castlevania, after a couple of hour i realized that the music is boring, not bad just boring. So since this is the first castlevania i played since symphony of the night i decided to check if the others on the DS had this kind of music... and man the music is awesome on those games! What the hell happened? Is all lords of shadow saga soundtrack... lame?

In other topic, there's other metroidvanias in the 3DS besides cave story?

Yes, Mirror of Fate/Lords of Shadow are poor Castlevania games with crummy music. Interesting games on their own, poor Castlevania games.

Try Shantae and The Pirate's Curse on the eShop if you're looking for more Metroidvania. :)

3rded

though I will also say if you find that you're particularly fond of REmake, definitely play Resident Evil 2, and perhaps check out the early Silent Hill games (especially the first two, and double especially the second one.)

is it weird that I think I like the first Silent Hill more than the 2nd?
