is it? or did this guy just get really lucky? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ys-iii-Wanderer ... 35e0491d55BoneSnapDeez wrote:A lot of the other fantastic PC Engine RPGs, like Xak and The Legend of Xanadu, are in Japanese. So yeah, not necessarily the best system to collect for.
I don't even own the Turbo port of Ys III. Shiz is mad expensive. Plus I have it on SNES, Genesis, and PS2.

Well that is still what I'd consider "mad expensive."
It's more than a new current-gen game.
But yeah, certainly a much lower price than most BINs. I'd say he did well.

Nice! (The Vectrex game is particularly interesting.)
Where did you find them?

The internet.
So I guess they aren't true "pick-ups." More like a delivery. Got 'em nice and cheap.
I also snagged a couple of Atari 8-bit games... but I don't yet have a system for those. I won't add games to my "Collection List" until I'm positive that they work.
You can play the Vectrex when you're here! The vector graphics are amazing. So smooth.

I run across these from time to time (and they are usually very, very cheap). Are there any particular title you are looking for?BoneSnapDeez wrote:I also snagged a couple of Atari 8-bit games... but I don't yet have a system for those. As far as I'm concerned... any cheap Atari game I see = instant buy!
Of course you're under no obligation to pick up games for me.
I was planing on getting an 8-bit system soon, but got distracted. Damn PC-FX. It'll probably be the final Atari system I buy. The price and rarity of ST / Jaguar / Jaguar CD stuff is a bit too much for me.
Oh, and in addition to the whopping one official Vectrex game I now own, I also have a great flash cart I got from a member here loaded up with a bunch of games (including homebrews like Frogger). We could sink some serious time into this thing.

Re: Games Acquired 2014
I've been virtually going back in time and buying old RPGs I missed. Recently got Evergrace for PS2 and Summoner: A Goddess Reborn for GC. Trying to find a good deal on Forever Kingdom and Wild Arms 5 now.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
