What gauge are you looking at. Because all of Train Simulators DLC combined with a PC that can run it and a controller is still less than some scales trains. Some O scale trains hit are 1k, and we wont get into G scale or Live Steam (where you start at 10k). That's just trains, not track or terrain. Train Simulator is to alot of people a way to have the train experience but not have to have a room dedicated to it. As much as I love HO, mine does not come out until Christmas, so I use Train Simulator to get my train fix inbetween.

Less people. More outlets for sexual release for some people. Possibly less STD spread. I'm struggling to find a bad side there.
