I took a two month break and your posts in this thread haven't changed at all.

Time to break up with Nintendo. It's not for you.

I think they have a little. And I see no reason for a breakup as I even pointed out today the 3DS is fantastic and does give the Nintendo owner everything they need from their own minds and those of third parties too. That system isn't restricted. I'm not being 100% anti-WiiU either, I just think some people can't handle the reality of the situation is all and had it been handled better up front it would have been my favorite if it had the options the 3DS does in games. Sadly I've just run out of things to play on it.

I don't think it's a matter of breaking up with Nintendo, it's breaking up with people who on the console side don't even want to try and support the thing correctly is all. Personally I think people who talk it up as the best system are straight up deluded apologists, or they are entirely just Nintendo lovers and are totally fine with a first party trickle and that I just am not. I get being blind to their behavior, I was for two decades.

I don't think anyone in this thread as ever called the Wii U the 'best system' or even claimed as much. I know they've said they find it the most enjoyable or that they don't see the competitors software output as anything that they're currently interested in enough to buy a second console, (or they are, but they'll just buy it on PC) but I don't think anyone has claimed it to be the 'best.' It's far too early to make a determination like that, and even if they did, at this point it's still a matter of opinion.

I think the 'Nintendo lovers' you are referring aren't so much 'deluded apologist', but more like individuals who are just tired of the same complaints about the console being hashed out over and over and over and over again throughout 500+ pages of thread. I think everyone here knows about the consoles strengths and weaknesses. Some people put weight behind some more than others and that's fine. Nintendo's account system is flawed, we know. They need to expand their e-shop, they need more third party support, they need to sell more consoles, they should have gone with something other than the tablet controller. Yes, check, got it. We know.

If anyone is thinking that this tread is filled with nothing but Nintendo fan-boys, let me assure you, it's not. It's just filled with a bunch of people who are having fun playing games on a system they enjoy, in an environment that's different from their competitors and who are getting a wee bit tired of having to justify to others why they are enjoying themselves to a group of people who come across as seeing the Wii U as the beginning of Nintendo's eminent demise.

Is it? It may very well be. But without a crystal ball that's just negative speculation and all the negativity is distracting some of us from pulling off proper turns on Rainbow Road, thank you very much.

Called Nintendo and my account should be transferred within 24 to 72 hours. We'll see how that goes.

Also not sure whether I like playing Toon Link or Lucina better in Smash Bros.

Picked up Sonic Lost World for $20, dropped in price I imagine because of the release of the new one, which got pretty bad reviews.

Loving it so far, takes awhile to get use to the controls and what not, but worth the $20 price for sure.
