I didn't see a thread on this and it releases next week in the US. Is anyone planning on getting this at launch or sometime soon after? It's being released in two versions plus I think you can grab it without the swag through the Nintendo e-shop. Gamestop is also selling an exclusive Persona Q themed 3DS XL for $199.99.
First is the Wild Cards Premium Edition seen below and retailing at $79.99.
Second is the Limited Standard Edition seen below and retailing at $49.99:
I have the Premium Edition pre-ordered, and partly paid off, bum I'm wondering if I should actually pull the trigger at that price. Especially when I could get SSB and Captain Toad for about the same price.
Is anyone getting this, which version are you planning on getting, and why?

Yeah I plan to buy it next week or so. I'm going to get the standard edition, I don't care about all that extra cruft. I'm planning to buy it because Atlus are one of the few JRPG producers who still know what the hell they are doing. This is a Persona flavored Etrian Odyssey; a nice hybrid concept that I can get behind. I'm sure in a year I could buy this half priced, but I'm willing to pay more up front now to support Atlus proper.
I've got the themed XL and Premium Edition pre-ordered. Actually, I pre-ordered the game months ago and have been waiting patiently ever since.
I don't know who it was (I want to say Popo), but someone posted a picture of the themed XL quite a while ago and I thought "If they'd release stuff like that over here, I'd buy it." Imagine my surprise It should look nice in the case that will be coming with the game
With this and the upcoming Black Thursday/Cyber Monday around the corner it's going to be a very pricey next few days. Thank goodness I get paid on Wednesday >_<

That would be an outstanding bundle and yet as you mention a very pricey one. The 3DS is really nice, we usually don't get stuff like that here and will look great with the case that comes with the premium edition. Any chance you can post pictures when you get it all unboxed?
Quick question, this includes the second half of the tarot cards, does anyone know where the first half came from?
I've decided I'm going to go ahead and purchase the pre-order I have out there. I really liked Etrian Odyssey IV and while I haven't played a persona game I want to encourage to release Persona on the 3DS instead of PSP/Vita as they had been doing.

Sure, if you'd like. I won't get both until probably next week, but it shouldn't be a problem.

I had to order both my items online since my local Gamestop closed. The other stores were just too damn far away for me to pre-order there and pick up in the middle of the week
I have never played one of these games (well not counting Arena) but the $80 version looks sweet. Very tempting. Love the case. Ridiculous mark up as usual though
