Nope, Korra is not on Netflix yet. Maybe in the future. Book one and two are on amazon prime. All current episodes are available on itunes. Your DVR isn't recording Korra anymore because Korra isn't on TV anymore. It's a nick.com exclusive.

I know you don't like nick.com Ziggy, and I can understand why.

It's a Nick.com exclusive? So, halfway through the season they stopped airing new episodes?

Yes. Korra doesn't really match the rest of the programming on Nickelodeon now anyway. The ratings weren't great. I think Korra had more online viewers than cable viewers.

To me, this just seems like another example of the shift from cable/broadcast TV to on-demand video.

Well in that case, I guess I'm waiting for the DVDs. Unless they're free with Amazon Prime, I'm not paying for digital copies.

This show really shouldn't have been on Nick anyway.

Different target demographic. I think viacom expects to make more money from DVD sales of Korra than advertiser dollars.

I really don't think rating are the main reason it went to online only. I think it has more to do with the dark vibe that started during season 3.
Earth queen being killed on screen was the first online episode and then you had a character literally blowing her own head off. The scene toward the end of season 3 with Korra getting mercury poison really took on a Japanese horror art style.

That's nothing new. Remember that book one ended with a murder-suicide. It's undeniable that this series does not cater to the icarly crowd,

Off screen and debatable that they are dead. A vehicle blowing up is something I see on children's TV all the time. Sucking the air out of someone's lungs as they look on in helpless horror and then pan to rioting in the streets is much darker and clear that they are dead. Changing five episodes to the end to online only is pretty strange. Over 1 million views an episode is not terrible and in fact is better than a lot of the networks viewership. Starting season 4 online would have made sense.

They did start book four online, dude. Korra went online only early in book three back in July.

Let's not forget that some online-only TV shows are fantastic. Korra is in good company. It doesn't bother me one bit that Korra is online--just like everything else I watch.

You totally misread me. I was stating that starting online only at the end of season three and continuing from there was weird. It should have finished season 3 on TV and started fresh with season 4 online. You confuse viewers otherwise. I realize season 4 is online only because I am watching it.
