Sometimes I wonder why I never look at that shelf....(so I guess that means I'll have two versions to play through? ha ha)
I LOVE that!
I'll be going through something and I'll be like "holy crap, I forgot I had this this".
It's also a sign that my collection is too big (as if there is such a thing  ).

Otherwise, I'd just pick one and go with it. Leave the other version for another time (lest you be all Lunar'ed out).

Well and the thing is my collection(at least physical) isn't that big. I'm almost certain even if I cased up everythign that it wouldn't completely fill up these atlantic media shelves(though I think it's time for a upgrade to ikea billy shelves....gotta utilize the height of those if I want many more games in my room, 80" is better than what these do). I'll probably go with the ps1 version but I will probably wait until next month after I get my new desk and set it up(not much room beside the sanyo and too many cords over there anyways)
My gameroom
My systems: NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, original gba, gba sp(001), ds lite, 3ds, vita, psp, PSone(101 model) ps2, ps3(320gb model), ps4, retron 5, and Dreamcast.

Making my way through the game slowly but Shirley. Just entered Damon's Spire. Nice to have five party members.

Been using a guide to make sure I find all the bromides. Kind of ashamed to admit that.

Oh and I went to the bath house and saw both of the dudes' bathing scenes. I was told to swap disc 1 out for disc 2 between the scenes. Most bizarre timing ever.

I'm kind of using a guide too, but it's my 2nd time through and I just like to know what I might have missed.
...and I'm shameless.

I feel like there's an inside joke from Working Designs or something.
"You like that big boy?, Come over and open my top and I'll show you more".

I'll try to make some more time for this, but I've been too burnt out for any serious gaming lately :| .

Was trying to think of another word that starts with "SH", but nothing else really makes sense (shards?, shavings?, shoehorn?). But 'tis funny.
If dragon sphincters are tight enough to make a diamond, Quark is surprisingly easygoing.

Almost rage quit when a normal enemy encounter stunned Luna, Killed Nash, and left Alex mortally wounded in the 1st round :x . I lost that one, and Nall didn't help me that time (why don't I save more frequently?). Was looking through my guide and apparently I've been playing kind of underleveled. Somehow I've been squeaking through boss fights.

Played until I reached Meryod last night.

Battles are the worst part of the game. I find them pretty dull, to be honest.

Lunar relies on specific monster/attack animations (you can see the type of attack it is preparing) and ally placement (to an extent) on the battlefield to keep things interesting.
Contrast that with Final Fantasy games that use more varied magic/abilities and relics to actually change the dynamics of how the battles play out. Maybe Lunar falls short if you put it on a scale against some other great RPGs in that respect.

But I do like the world of Lunar. And even though the battles can get a bit mundane, I still think they are fairly unique among its peers.

I like the battle system of Lunar, I'm a couple hours into the PS1 version I'm finding it not as easy as the PSP remake but still pretty easy. The key is keep Luna in the back heal when you need to and defend when no heals are needed, her attacks are so weak it isn't worth her putting her defenses down and getting gang banged by a group of enemies.

I love Lunar, it's easy but its very relaxing to play. The story is simple and cliche but it is very charming. It's like an old Saturday morning cartoon.

Just started up the Sega CD version tonight. Didn't get very far, just picked up Nash.

Loving the music, not very fond of the battles.
