I probably walked 3 or 4 times around the massive store until I found someone who then called someone else and made me wait 10 more minutes. Then he arrives and says "Sorry, there's like nobody here today." Yeah, no shit. Then at first he couldn't find the TV and finally when he does it takes in 30 min to bring it out. It then took the manager another 10 minutes or so to come and validate a price match. He also told this old lady to wait for someone to arrive to help her with a TV and even 20 minutes later no one had arrived at which point she just left. I mean I get that they want to save money but fuck, you shouldn't be that understaffed. It wasn't particularly busy either. I was really close to leaving and heading to Walmart, I repeat, Walmart.

I don't watch youtube; save a rare occasion when i'm sent a link by someone I trust to not waste my time.
So...I got a link last night to local news bloopers and I just absolutely lost it at 1:46 of this video and the immediate clip after it was even better at 2:01. The whole thing is 15 mins, but those are the 2 that are worth the click:
dunno, possibly NSFW:

If you like those, check out the NewsBeFunny channel on Youtube, they put out a "best of the month" around the end of each month so there's always something new.mjmjr25 wrote:I don't watch youtube; save a rare occasion when i'm sent a link by someone I trust to not waste my time.

Aw dude, its especially bad if you're one of the few employees left. Suddenly you have to do the work of three people, get paid the same and over that put up with all the customers complaining there isn't enough staff on. It's so sad to see people walking out in anger because there is no-one to serve them; head office are sacrificing so much customer satisfaction and repeat business in return for saving a couple of bucks in the short termoxymoron wrote:- Best Buy costumer service sucks ass. Frown: My car makes a super bad grinding noise when it's in full lock, but only after turning the wheel clockwise. It's at a super bad time; I'm in the process of saving up for a new car and I want to sell this one soon. I hope the fix isn't too expensive!

Smile: This morning I was looking over my stock portfolio and realized that I had been doing my budgeting for my kitchen remodel by looking at the gain/loss column of the securities I'm using to fund it; I'm still going to have a large chunk of money leftover when I'm done.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I'm off all of Thanksgiving week, which is great, but as a result I have to get a lot done today. And that has proven to be problematic:
A server went down at work, which made some of our databases inaccessible. It's back up now, but more work is being done on one of the tools I need to use.
I also had to sit through a mandatory annual information security update. That was 45 minutes I will never get back.
I have a one-sheet I've created for my tools, but since I'm leaving for a week, I now have to sit on it and wait before I can start sending it out.
I have to look up a bunch of content, but the downed served also made that whole system FUBAR.
I look forward to my week off.
