I hate this time of the year. There's so much I want to play and while I could get just about everything there's no way I'll have the time to enjoy it all. Did place my order for Freedom Wars on Vita though. Can't wait it looks absolutely fantastic.
I also want GTA V for PS4 but once again, I've got so many other games to play it would be foolish to get it.
I like my PS4 a whole lot but balancing between my few PC and Vita games is proving challenging enough. There just isn't enough time in the day to enjoy all the games I want to.
The Evil Within isn't too bad so far, but it has frequently made me experience one of my biggest pet peeves in the history of gaming...
Forced walking. I cannot even emphasis how much this always pisses me off in modern games. Top it off with the usual controls taken away thing too where buttons just stop doing stuff. Okay, I get that I have to look around this room for something, or I get that I'm supposed to look at this character and listen. But for gods sake, I'd actually much rather have a cutscene.
Not once can I think of a game where I appreciated forced control changes. The only acceptable time for this to me is in hubs or small places with friendly NPC's or whatever, that's fine, but don't sprinkle it throughout the rest of the game. It breaks things up and just ruins the videogame immersion or something.
Alright, I haven't checked up on it lately, but how is Skyrim nowadays on PS3? I was thinking of picking it up since I'm really itching for something fantasy or stabby to play. I knew there were issues with it, but I don't know how well they've been fixed, or if they have.
