Got to chapter 3 of Valkyria Chronicles loving it so far. The whole menu/mission layout in book mode is awesome and I'm really enjoying the story. Love the fact that I can have Japanese voice overs as well if only every imported game had this option .
Can't wait until after work tomorrow really looking forward to interacting with my new squad and tackling some missions with them .
Been playing through the single player campaign of this:
So far it's been a fairly fun game. A bit simpler than other genre pieces of its ilk than I'm used to. Understandable given it was touted as an online competitive affair. In essence I am reminded of this game, except you can't change your load out. A bit of a concessionary regression.
- The Evil Within - RE4.5 is pretty good so far. - Thief (2014) - Hitting this one up after finishing Alien Isolation felt kind of good. Instead of being terrified, I'm just a thief looting stuff. I do kind of have to force myself to play this one, but I am at about 10 hours and once it gets going at times I really dig it.
Filler games: - Serious Sam 3 - I love that it's exactly the same as the first two but with an updated engine. Hilarious. - Shadow Warrior - Lot of people seem to hype this one up, but it's not hooking me in for whatever reason. Wolfenstein The New Order is more my style I guess.
Reasonably close to giving up on Urban Strike. Really disappointed in it. The on foot sections are really lame and it's filled with bugs and frame rate issues. I'll give it another chance tomorrow but...well let's just say I've already drafted an ebay listing for it.
Just hit Chapter 7 of Valkyria Chronicles . Loving the game so far really hoping the difficulty ramps up soon though. There are only two things that are bugging me about this game one is while the Japanese Audio is there they failed to sub the unit chatter while in combat so I ended up swapping back to English so I wouldn't miss out on that. The other thing that bugs the hell out of me is my tank accidentally knocking friendlies into the line of fire . Lost a engineer last battle when my tank slightly bumped her and sent her flying out of cover right into an enemy tanks line of fire as my turn ended. Luckily I still had a spare in the squad but that was really annoying. Really enjoying the game though can't wait to plug a few more hours into it.

I'd really like to play more of the Tales games, I've only every played, Symphonia and Vesperia
If you can get your hands on a copy of Tales of Phantasia, it's definitely worth checking out. It's amazing what could be done on the Super Nintendo towards the end of its life.
