Ha, you can't beat 4 keys for Insurgency for a dollar (or more) on the Humble store.

Speaking of Insurgency, now I wish all FPS games have lean and crouch-sliding. Those two should come as standard, and autorest on surfaces is also a bonus. Arma 3 needs a mod to enable this feature

I also liked FEAR's jump kick, as hilarious as it looked and felt.

I downloaded Crysis (360) for $2.99 from XBLA and am enjoying it thus far.

I'm playing on 'Hard' mode, and it actually is quite difficult at times. But once you understand how to properly play the game using your armor and cloak abilities as a means to be strategic and stealthy, it's like it becomes a whole other game than just running around shooting people like so many other FPS's out there.

I'd like to make a quick note, too. That I initially played through the first couple missions with my Xbox 360's display set at 1080 and encountered A TON of video and audio issues. But once I changed the display to 720, the game ran so much better/smoother with very few hiccups!

Currently Playing: Crysis (360), Destiny demo (PS3), Roadblasters (MAME)

Can't get Crysis to run on Win8.1, tried everything too. Shame, but looking at the lack of mods I'm not too concerned. I played it waaay back on a 6600GT that could barely handle it :D

Anyone tried Bedlam yet? (No, not that Bedlam)

Made good progress on the first Riddick.
Met w/Jagger and completed most of the optional objectives in the mines. I had no idea I'd be ending up in a RIOT SUIT shortly thereafter. Holy ****. Now if I had that kind of firepower for the entire game.....

That game is awesome. It is one of my favorite FPS games (even if it is really more of a first-person adventure game).

.....

I started up FarCry 3: Blood Dragon last night. So far, it is OK.

It's a so-so FPS wrapped in a really nice presentation. Style over substance, for sure.

That's kind of what I am getting from it. I do enjoy the presentation (and 1980s action movies fan-service), however, and since howlongtobeat says it will take me between five and seven hours to get through the game, I doubt it will wear out its welcome.
