To be fair, it is a nicely done collection that allows you to play Halo 1-4 all on the same console.RCBH928 wrote:FerretGamer wrote:Destiny happened... and Advanced Warfare... Oh and then Halo Collection.RCBH928 wrote:It always saddens me when I see a big game that is supposed to be a system seller turns out disappointing, but if Titanfall sold 3.5m (which i consider smashing success), why is no one playing that game?
Then, whatever is the next FPS to steal away more users. Titanfall's problem is that it's an online only multiplayer FPS relying on a majority that moves on to the next big thing.
If Halo Collection ends up selling just as much as the new releases, this will show that nostalgia and loyalty is a very powerful thing. People will be buying the same games they bought before!
And this.Jmustang1968 wrote:It will sell because many will want to play Halo 2 multiplayer again.

Re: The PS4 thread
For anyone interested, they just announced a limited physical edition of Retro City Rampage DX for the PS4. It is limited to 2,000 copies for $25.00 + S&H and ships in early December.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I just ordered this. I couldn't care less if only 2000 were made. I put off for a LONG time buying this because of the floundering around the Nintendo releases of it and all and then the PC on being Steam and me having sworn off using that a few years (though I reactivated it for FF13 a week ago.) I bought this one. The fact it has a free steam code is a sweet bonus but I'll do play this on the PS4 above all with that comfy controller it has.
You should make a stand alone post about that in this thread so people are aware before it sells out because at $25 it won't last long.

Finally joined the master race.
I bought:
The Evil Within
Last of Us Remastered
GTA5
Far Cry 4
Definitely some other stuff I'll pick up eventually.
AssCreed is pretty much the new Dynasty Warriors. I think I can accept that although I hate yearly games and Ubisoft's practices, there is no denying how much I enjoyed 2 and Brotherhood. Unity looks like crap, and Rogue's existence is a joke, but I definitely still want to check out Black Flag sometime. It apparently being so detached from the rest of the series is probably a good thing.
I'll probably check out Revelations someday to wrap up Ezio's story. He was cool, unlike Desmond.

Re: The PS4 thread
Black Flag is excellent and as good as Assassin's Creed II.

This isn't the PC thread.Xeogred wrote:Finally joined the master race.
You should check out Black Flag. Really good game and Kenway is easily the most likable protagonist in the series in my humble opinion. And you are correct that in being a bit more detached from the other games, it benefits. Sure there's still plenty Assassin's Creed there but there's also a lot of Sid Meier's Pirates!-lite going on that gives the game stronger mechanical and thematic legs to stand on.
Older. Not wiser.

Watch Dogs always looked terrible to me, lol. Especially now with GTA5 out this week and Sleeping Dogs out there, I have no reason to touch that one.
