Just came back from my retro store. Had to get this game. Didn't want to pay the price but I haven't seen it in almost a year.
Splatterhouse 2. What a freaking game. Very fun to play

That is a dope song indeed. Love Lab Zone.
So, I picked up a Sega CD model 2 yesterday, along with a cib copy of Silpheed.
Silpheed is sick. Love the presentation, with awesome voice samples screaming at you as you dodge crazy polygons. Game feels like Starfox and shmups had a baby. Music isn't bad either.
Also popped in Lunar, which I posted a bit about in the appropriate thread.
Pretty happy to have this beast again. Hooked up to a model 1 Genesis, the thing takes up an entire shelf. Its a fuckin boat, but the kind that the whole neighborhood looks at with awe.
I do need to find the panel/plate thing that keeps the extender attached to the CD unit though.

I love the look of a Model 1, but a Model 2+32X+CD looks so sexy in all it's girth.

Plus with the original 6 button controllers. Everything matches

I never could dress myself, so I've got my model 1 hooked up to the model 2 CD.
Shit is funky, but thiiiick. Come on, you need a support bar just to hold that beast up!
Plus I just like the model 1 too much to swap

I've got a model 2 Genesis/Sega CD model 2 also hooked up. And even though I have the model 2 genesis with bad sound and visuals It still looks good.
Lately all I have been getting into is the Genesis. Its such a great system and now people are starting to take notice. The prices are going rise soon on games. And Thats going to suck

It doesn't look that bad if you have the full base. Sometimes I see them with 1/4 of the Model 1 hanging off.

mono sound is a bummer, and it has compatibility issues too iirc.
But, being able to just toss in MD carts is sweet, and its just... so tiny and adorable. Not something I'll drop $$$ on, but I'm keeping my eyes out for a cheap one.
