Do you think retro will one day be enough for your tastes?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

There's sooooooo many older games that I have yet to play and honestly have mre desire to play than new games that I really don' see any reason to get newer systems. It's always been my preference to buy one generation behind that way I can get all the best games for low prices and never get screwed on a game I end up not liking.

As long as they keep making Zelda and Half Life titles, Ill keep buying Nintendo systems and have a "somewhat up to date" pc - we all know Half Life is known for its scaling capabilities. Heck I first played it on a p1 90mhz with 32 megs of ram and a voodoo 2.

But for the most part, yes Retro is enough for my taste.

Yeah it makes me sad to walk into Gamestop and see all these games I paid $50 on release marked at $3 to $5 used. I'm putting off buying a lot of 360 titles now so I can grab them in bargain bins later.

I keep meaning to get around to playing this. Although, I've considered just going straight into Invisible War.
Don't. The sequel dumbed down all the roleplaying aspects of the game. The original is a must play. The sequel, while good, is not really a classic.

I second the above. IW had a good story, but gameplay wise it was a real letdown from the first.
