Ultraman is awful, and one of the worst SNES games I've ever played. Pit-Fighter is the absolute bottom of the barrel for me, but Ultraman is just slightly over it.SNESdrunk wrote:I want to make sure to include everything, stinkers and all. I've played most of those games the past month (all the ninja games I've been doing lately has me gravitating toward fighting games for some reason), but I haven't played Power Instinct, Power Moves or the Bruce Lee game, and I've only played one DBZ game. I haven't played the King of Monsters games on SNES. Plus I haven't played stuff like Ultraman in a million years (I remember it being disappointing)Ack wrote:Have you played all the fighters on your list? There are some gems in there, but there are also some real stinkers too.
Power Instinct is quite cool, so I think you'll find it enjoyable, if only for how wacky it gets. Power Moves has a couple of cool ideas but really bombs in the execution. I don't hate it, but it's not something I'd consider "good." Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story is disappointing. It has one of the coolest mechanics in video games, where you can fight Death to keep going when you die, but it doesn't do much else right.
