well I,m just going to have to save up and get the nes but I want the kind where you have to blow the thing left and right to get the thing to work to me that was the fun part trying to get the nes to work so when the game actually came on it kind of meant something like you worked hard to get the game to work and now enjoy until your older brother bumps into it and it would freeze that happened to me when I was a kid playing the last level of ninja gaiden 2 and castlevania 3 Damn him ah the memories!!!!!!

I was about to say the same thing.

So there's a big argument about the definition of the word "irony," but nobody cares about "retro" being misused? How ironic! :P

As long as the message gets across who cares? No ones writing a novel or legal document here. Its nothing but casual talk.

Don't worry about it. I was kind of directing my comment to the four pages of meaningless debate on the meaning of the word irony.

Many people stay clear of the clones, but I swear by my Retro Duo. It's has great compatibility and plays both NES and SNES games. Everything I've thrown in it looks and sounds just like and original SNES. Not to mention, it has s-video built in. Certain NES games have a few sounds issues, but work great for the most part.

If you don't want to shell out the cash for an original NES/SNES, I highly advise getting a Retro Duo. I got mine for less than $40 shipped.
