Wait, wait, hang on here...

...people actually EAT the Double-Down? I always thought that thing was a myth, like Sasquatch or Dennis Kucinich.
What's not to like about the KFC DD? Speaking of horrible food, I've been craving Taco Bell lately. :|

 I love that this is turning into a legitimate discussion.

Some people talk about the double-down like it's a rite of passage. "It was too ridiculous not to eat" seems to be the consensus. I get the sentiment. It's comparable to how I feel about the concept of a tofurkey -- or felt, I should say, until about two minutes ago, when I discovered they are not actually shaped like turkeys.

I am deeply disappointed about this.

Guess that's my frown for the day.

I went and looked up what tofurkey looked like because of this.

Oh...oh God...it's like a hideous football of faux-meat.

I had vegetarian and vegan friends at school. We did a pot luck Thanksgiving one year and I went in with my best friends and we got a tofurkey. I'm not big on tofu, but with whatever magic "tastes like meat" stuff was added to it, it was pretty decent. It wasn't the same obviously, but it was tasty. The problem is that it was way more expensive than actual turkey and very small.

Smile: Writing an article for this site.

Frown: Won't be ready until next year. Italy wasn't built in a day.

Don't worry. That sense of humor will not be included in the article.
