Did you spring for a real one?
Nah, I just got a repro. A real one costs almost my entire paycheck.

One day, though.

Played some more Adventures of Batman and Robin

Thanks to tips from Mad Hatter, I made it to... the Mad Hatter stage!

Game's style is still oozing. Unbelievable detail in bosses, and the music just never stops. The Harley fight with the vector crane arm swinging to and away from the screen as you have to dodge her bomb onslaught. The Joker blimp fight filling the entire damn screen! The aircraft boss with Two-Face swinging from a heli ladder in the back, tossing dynamite that not only explodes, but moves the very ground you stand on, changing how you have to dodge the shmup-esk aimed bullets from the craft.

The shmup stage itself was alright. Like most of the actual stages it was a bit too long, but at least the intensity continues to climb at a decent rate. The ship itself is a little floaty.

Seriously was shocked that the first stage did not end until the Joker went down. 4 boss fights, and probably 25 minutes of play (Not easy stuff either) just to see the Stage 2 splash screen? Nuts.

Slightly poor pacing aside, though, game is top-notch. Will be playing this one through for sure.

Just use any old cord. Splice an extension cord onto a strand of christmas lights. What could possibly go wrong?

Be prepared for one of the hardest stages ever. This stage (Mad Hatter) is even harder than the last (Mr. Freeze). Joker and Two-Face are child's play. Mad Hatter stage made me take a break for a few days after I was so proud of myself going through Joker and Two Face without losing a life.

There's a "trick" you can do on the first level of Mad Hatter's stage. Basically, there's a railing that runs through the whole board. You can grab onto it and keep jump kicking your way through for the most part.

Been playing a lot of beat em ups. turtles, battletoads, and punisher. The punisher isn't that bad of a game but the ninja turtles hyperstone heist I cant get enough of. I have been beating the game with every turtle. My favorite has to be Raphael. He's fast with his weapons.

Hyperstone heist is awesome. That's one of the best games on Genesis.
