Love the orange one.

I use a FC Dual now and love the thing just because its small and plays pretty much all my NES and SNES games with no issues.

The original systems are still on hand though in original boxes.

I have both NES models, but the toaster gets practically all the play time, I just don't like RF
I grew up with the toaster and I'm fond of the design as well. And once you do a pin replacement with the toaster most of its design problems are resolved. Off the shelf though, the top loader is a more reliable model and its just ugly I have to admit.

I read somewhere the top-loader had a few cheaper parts, making for lower-quality video output and the like. Have you found this to be the case?

Never really noticed to be honest but, the TV I play my NES games on doesn't have the greatest definition if you know what I mean.
