Wow, that's nuts. I just bought my copy for $1, maybe a month ago. See em all the time around here too, oddly. More Arrow Flash than Super Monaco in my area.

I'll take that for a buck. I don't have Arrow Flash.

I had not heard of it until today, but it looks like it is awesome. Like a hybrid of Macross and Gradius.

Well I finally finally got a Sega cdx. It did cost me a few bucks with arrow flash but I have been wanting a Sega cdx since 95. Had to use my credit card but I'm so happy I finally have this thing and its in great condition.

Sell it to me in six months when you decide to liquidate your whole collection again.

I can't play it. Don't have the right power cord. I got a model 2 power cord. So its just sitting there.

You have a pretty slick Genesis collection mas, maybe sink a few more credits into Gaiares or something until the CD is working. :)

I tried out Adventures of Batman and Robin yesterday (Well, for the 2nd time, first time solo). Holy god this game is hard. I game over'd, twice, on the stage 1 boss. No idea how to tactfully approach him, since he just spits bullets everywhere and takes forever to die. Feels like I should have a slide or... something more than just shoot and jump.

Even with how brutal it is, though, I want to push through at least to stage 2 or 3, because thre music and sprite work is surprisingly good.

Well thanks for the compliment. It sucks I can't use the cdx yet.
Does anybody have an extra cdx ac adapter or a model 3 console I can buy. I have the cords for a Genesis 3 so why not just pick it up and I love how the thing looks. I also want that Cdx adapter and I'm going to just wait till I see an original on ebay

It's nice that you at least seem more focused on one system mas. I F'N love the Sega trio of Genesis/32x/CD too. Although the model 3 with the wireless controllers looks slick as hell.

I'm afraid it's not that easy, mas. It's rare to see the Sega CDX power supply on ebay. You can also use the power supply to the JVC X'eye. Those aren't exactly common either.
Your best bet is to search ebay for "JVC AAS95J". That should get you a power supply with the exact right specs. They go for about $30-$35.

On the other hand, if the previous owner has been using the wrong power supply with this CDX, it may already be damaged. Who knows?
