Another Zelda Question: 4 Swords

Post by SpaceBooger »

Is this game any fun?
I usually play games solo... sometimes my wife will join in for 2 player games like Streets of Rage... but I mainly play solo.
So, my question is since the game looks similar to Link to the Past, which I love, is this game worth it for me to play?

If you're not playing with friends, then I can't recommend it at all.

I thought you couldn't even play it alone.

There's the Four Swords GC game that lets you play solo. I watched a buddy play it once and wasn't impressed. It seems to focus a bit much on puzzles and not much on combat. I like a nice balance.

I find it fun on all levels, but the single player is a farcry from the multiplayer. Is it worth playing only by yourself, Im going to say no.

I actually like the single player a lot. You control four links and switch formations to solve puzzles. It's actually pretty intuitive.

I honestly couldn't find myself playing this with three other people. It requires four GBAs and four link cables which is absurd.

See the multiple tv/gba method works well for me and my friends. After playing it with four people on numerous occasions, playing it by myself is just slow and kinda boring.

I still want to try that someday.
