Is it free on all 3 platforms then (Desura, gamersgate, steam)? If free and no other (in-game progress) requirements, then i'm fine w/them.

It's $3 on Desura, and I'm guessing it's the same on Steam and elsewhere.

I say no then, unless there is a groundswell of folks really wanting them...

ah thanks Exed. You're right. I figured it just unlocked after 1,000 - instead you have to SPEND your 1,000 on it in the Shoppe. Stupid. I would have never looked in the Shoppe if you hadn't clued me in. Figured that was for DLC, etc.

FYI, here's something you may enjoy...

An Interview I did with Final Form Games: http://www.racketboy.com/podcast/racket ... form-games

Final Form games are the creators of the acclaimed 2011 PC shoot-em-up Jamestown, a rousing success on the Steam platform and one of the best indie games of the year. For this episode of the podcast, I sat down in person with the three man team that runs the studio – Hal Larsson, Tim Ambrogi, and Mike Ambrogi - to ask them about the ins and outs of game development, the complexities of designing a shmup engine, their experience working with Valve, and their upcoming plans for the studio. Listen in to find out the connection between America’s Army and Jamestown, the studio’s thoughts on the current gaming landscape, and where they got the idea for creating a shmup on colonial Mars.

Maybe pop it in the OP, Mike?

anyone recall issues w/STEAM when first installing? I just installed on this new PC and it won't center on the screen, it forces to the upper right corner, so I get about 60% of the screen? I lowered resolution from 1080 to 720 and tried the 3 resolution options in-game (pixel perfect, stretch, etc). Anyone else have any ideas?

Not sure how to help with that. My laptop has a 1366 x 768 resolution, and it's fine with that.

As for the DLC, none of the extra ships are overpowered (most top players use Gunner, which is one of the original ships), so is it really a big deal to not allow them? I kinda like playing with Treason, and it doesn't have a score advantage over any of the other ships.
