No I got what you meant. I also tried when DMC first came out on the PS2 and again later when every was freaking out about it a couple years later and I always found it too hard. I was young and refused to set it to easy. Now that I'm an old man and don't give a crap, I'll just set it to easy on the HD collection if I have to and have fun with it.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Sorry about that. I meant that I tried the original version on the PS2 several years ago. (I have also own all three games in the DMC trilogy for the PS2 in addition to the PS3 HD Collection because I am an OCD collector like that...)Stark wrote:Hmm. A picked up the HD Collection earlier this year, however, and thought I would give it another shot. (The looks gorgeous in HD, BTW.)
What are you playing?

I am playing it on normal. It is not too hard once you grasp the mechanics (i.e., it doesn't touch Ninja Gaiden (XBOX)), and I may turn up the difficulty for subsequent playthroughs or when I attempt some of the sequels.

Wow, there are so many grammatical errors in my post.

So decided to play a bit of mario vs donkey kong:mini-land mayhem on the ds...I forgot how much I loved this game/series. It just seems like so much fun(and honestly it almost feels like playing a modern day version of the original Donkey Kong which I did play a good bit in DK64 since I recall there being a mini game for it on K. Rool's ship...at least I think there was). Why doesn't nintendo do 2d any more? and I mean true 2d because stuff like this is such a treat to look at sometimes

For real! Virtual boy to 3DS seems so obvious. What's nintendo waiting for? I want to play Warioland VB on 3DS.prfsnl_gmr wrote:I know...
Despite the fact it will never happen, I still hope that Nintendo will port some Virtual Boy games to the 3DS. Ideally, we would receive a physical Virtual Boy Collection containing all of the first-party Virtual Boy games.
Nuclear Strike is maybe my favorite PS1 game of all.Sload Soap wrote:Started Desert Strike earlier with the intention of playing through the entire series back to back in chronological order as I did Panzer Dragoon earlier on in the year.
Quite looking forward to this little project. Desert, Jungle and Future Cop are classics in my book. Never had much love for Urban or Soviet but maybe that can change and I've never owned Nuclear until recently.
Early impressions of Desert Strike: it's hard, it's not very PC and the Snes version has terrible sound.

Looking forward to Nuclear Strike. The only one I have never played.
I've beat Desert and Jungle so far. Surprised to find I prefer Desert. Jungle Strike starts really well but it starts to dilute the formula with other vehicles and gets unfair.

I finally nabbed a copy of Rayman Legends for the Wii U. HOLY SHIT, this game is f'n fantastic! As far as Wii U platformers go, this may be my new favourite.
