I just turned it on to check I wasn't overestimating.
I wasn't. I was actually level 61.
Yeah, easy XP plus a reasonably high encounter rate equals profit.

The Tiny Tina DLC for BL2 was in a word: incredible. Borderlands 2 is a game I loved proper, but there's a serious possibility that Assault On Dragon Keep is actually my favorite part of the game. The setting was awesome, the enemies were cool, the writing hilarious. Like straight up literal "LOL" funny. I mean I forged a beard FFS. It was just fantastic, and an argument that DLC can actually totally add to a game when done right.

Re: Games Beaten 2014
truly brilliant. Multiple times during play I would just announce "this is fucking awesome" to the other guys. And when it was over proclaimed it "my favorite Borderlands thing" along with "the best DLC for anything."dsheinem wrote: I've been so happy to see you lot finally play this awesomest Borderlandsy thingster ever and gush.
The way it was constructed was just amazing. Where I totally felt like I was playing D&D with a horrible DM who was making shit up on the fly and recycling all the usual tropes, old (Harryhausen style skeletons) and new (fires and flowing dudes a la Dark Souls). The way the story jumped from the Vault Hunters playing, to her narrating as DM was flawless. And honestly, I'd play an entire 30 hr Borderlands game that was based entirely on D&D motifs as long as I could still have my guns.
Re: Games Beaten 2014
Well, maybe not the guns. We might throw you into an action RPG like Titan Quest or something some time. Or Monaco. We've played quite a bit of Monaco but need to actually get around to finishing the game.noiseredux wrote:truly brilliant. Is there a such thing as a first person D&D-style game with 4P multiplayer and a bow and arrow that I can use to snipe stuff with?

Re: Games Beaten 2014
Well..."co-op" anyway. It doesn't mean I won't be sticking Quietus down your throat.noiseredux wrote:the Hexi has online co-op?
