Where's GTA IV?

Out of those, Fallout 3 - i'm a sucker for Bethesda RPGs and while Fallout might not have gripped me as much as the Elder Scrolls series, it still provided me with a solid 40 or so highly enjoyable hours.

But personally i'd say my favourite game of the year has to be Ketsui Death Label on the DS, i've got so many hours out of the game in the past few months, it's just perfect for a quick blast of shmup action.

s.t.a.l.k.e.r. and futhermore as you know polls inherently flawed to represent the true conenesus and conveyed opinion of the voters. As they are limited in choice and suscepcitple(sp) to mass effect. So you should invent a new poll where you can simply type your choice.

It's going to sound pretentious and shit but I don't care. Iji. Iji was the only game that really excited me start to finish this year, and I'll never forget it. I guess things have finally gotten to the point where modern games will never meet my retro standards, no matter how much I fight it.

But yeah, out of those I'd give it to gears 2. Just an epic, solidly built (single player wise) game, the multiplayer is still pretty fucking awesome if you play with friends instead of matchmaking. I would have said fallout 3 but a game that buggy... i just couldn't give it a title like that. I think once i finish no more heroes though.. it'll be up there. I consider i the wii's godhand right now, and that's quite an honor. I would also nominate SSF2THDR and Kirby super star ultra if they weren't remakes. While they were both great remakes, the fact that they are such in my mind absolves them form any merit.
