Well, in that case it would be an allusion, used in an ironic context. (Well, whether or not its ironic is kind of arguable, considering the character is religious, despite how he acts being against what his religion would like him to.)

Though I wouldn't consider Quentin a Christian source.

I was going to book tickets for Interstellar this evening, but reviews have left me second-guessing and so I decided to wait for the eventual retail release. People seem to go apeshit over Christopher Nolan's movies.

I just saw Interstellar last night in IMAX. Not everyone will agree with me, but I loved it. I'm a huge sucker for space exploration films, and love this new wave of space centric films that depict space with a degree of scientific accuracy (note the word *degree*). The movie was also a bit more emotional than I thought it would be too, and actually got me a bit. I thought the ride was spectacular and look forward to more films like this and Gravity!

Interstellar is gorgeous in that Nolan type of way/style, but failed the "did I check my watch?" test. Yeah, I get it. Nolan's movies are grandiose...but some substance would be nice, specifically in the script.

But if you absolutely love Nolan's formula of making a movie, you'd dig it a lot. It's up their with Inception as being the most "Nolany".

I'd like it if Nolan made shorter movies. I still have yet to sit all the way through Inception. It doesn't matter how epic the movie is; I get bored of any film longer than two hours.

This criticism applies to Peter Jackson as well.
