Just in time for the holiday, Synthetix.FM once again presents:

The Rhythm Vivisection Halloween Mixtape 2014

37 tracks of spooky retro synth goodness ready to slash your speakers!

And yes, I'm on it again. My track starts at 1:31:10.

This song about pop songs made me laugh. The chorus is brilliant.

The "Five Nights at Freddy's" song. Kinda dubsteppy but not in an obnoxious crack-cocainish Skrillex way but more like Mike Diva's "Grindhouse Megamix", though with original lyrics while the latter used soundbites from films released as part of Full Moon's Grindhouse Collection (which is pretty much all of their obscure releases, mostly taken from so-so sources and even possibly VHS, put on DVD).

They both totally have a strangely '80s vibe but don't have any kind of '80s-style sounds.

Right now I just can't stop listening to various Atelier OST... I've only played Ayesha but listening to OST from the other games really makes me want to play them (and makes me wish I knew Japanese better ._.)

I'm Working Right Now! (From Atelier Marie)
The Glasses are Laughing (Also from Atelier Marie)
Every day's a Carnival (From Atelier Lilie)
Invitation Flower ~ Autumn (One of my favourite ones from Ayesha)

Dolly Parton - Shine

Really a nice rendition of the song....plus everyone needs a little dolly in their lives

Reba - Maggie Creek Road

Really wish she would put something new out....I really enjoy the "Keep on loving you" album
