How exactly do you unlock the extra planes in the Saturn mode?

Its in the special options. Its the one right under Bullet Type, should be Guest Characters, which you can switch off and on.

If so, keep in mind that the rank does NOT reset when you Game Over. If you happen to, I dunno, be using savestates to keep the high score board in tact (
), then every credit you start will be at a higher rank than the last. Otherwise, I'm always willing to give a few tips (even to you non-cumpilers) to help enjoyment a bit more. Sometimes something simple can net you an easy extend and further your play by a stage or two.

Not sure how much play I'll get in today since Call of Duty Advance Warfare launched today, somehow I feel like I'm probably the only person on the planet playing both COD and Battle Garegga on the same day
