That looks interesting if you're going to be carrying it around a lot, but with the size of it I wonder what other things you could lug around making it really worth the price.

I'm curious, are any of you still using your R5's anymore as this topic kind of went dead.

Whenever I got console stuff to do, I've been. But lately it's been the Gamecube and PC.

Well now that I have the full set with the black controller too I've been meddling a little with it mostly on FF6 Advance, but I did pop Mario Paint in the other day to swat some flies and I have a copy of Wolfenstein 3D here on the desk I traded a SS6 for to get today. :) I know it's awful, but it's so bad it's good with the mutilation of the source material.

Funny thing is I still use mine, problem is I've just been busy with work lately(thanks holiday preperations for grocery store!), that and can't use it at my dad's. The tv in the bedroom I sleep in doesn't have hdmi. Heck it's so old it's a mono tv XD

I still use mine but I also have a crap load of other consoles and games competing for my very limited time.

Well good to see it's not forgotten by some. I guess once those beta's started getting stretched out the chit chat just died off. I have trouble using mine among other systems because my time gets stretched thin. I've come to the realization awhile back I had too many games and stuff so I keep selling more and more off. I also realized I can use my computer freely by far the most aside from a handheld gaming device so I've been dropping lots of stuff to get a very beefy laptop and I'm just a couple hundred short of that now thanks to a big sale today. I've been getting rid of some spendy stuff and more to go like ninja five o and car battler joe with a manual I just pulled and other stuff I still have to go like the faria mail away map.

Yes, still definitely using mine. Finally got to play through Metroid: Zero Mission, which was fantastic. I think the lack of beta updates + the supposed legal issues (any updates not that stuff by the way?) kind of sucked some momentum out of the thread, but I'm still loving it, regardless of any questionable activity Hyperkin participated in to get it made.

I mean, emulators in general are questionable and I've been fine with that for years, so this really changes nothing in my book.

I am still using mine a ton. Just completed Link to the Past on it, my first completed Zelda game! I still haven't found a way to transfer my mostly-complete Earthbound emulator SRAM save to it though, so I'm still playing that game on my Mac. Had been hoping to figure out a way to switch over to the Retron with a Mother 2 cart and IPS patch.

I'm still using mine too. I live in the UK and am really pleased with the 60HZ refresh option. Even PAL optimized (50HZ) games seem to convert well.

One thing I have noticed is that the 50HZ option and the 'play at original refresh rate' options do not work ie every game plays at 60HZ whatever setting you have it on.

Has anyone else noticed this?

As I said its not a problem at the moment as all the games I have tested play well at 60HZ, however if one doesn't and is glitchy at 60HZ it would be nice to have the option to play it at its intended 50HZ
