FF1 - fun game but, man I wish I could walk around without so many encounters and low exp gains(I feel like the origins version may be the switch I need to do just to play it because I think that one doesn't have such a high encounter rate).

Think I may switch to zelda just so I can knock the others off my list and come back to this one later....
Adding bugs bunny birthday bash to the list. I get as far as 3.2 or 3.3 and then I use up all my lives and die. Do pretty well up to that point(and usually have about 20 or so lives) would be a game I would really play if it wasn't for those issues with those levels. I think I may have to find my psp wherever it's disappeared too in my room and try ff1 again...

Double post but:
  • Final Fantasy
  • Bugs bunny: birthday bash
  • Phantom Detective new
*Sigh* Was going to beat it for a quick one to add to my list but it seems that won't happen since i had the iOS version. It doesn't work on iOS8 and Capcom hasn't updated it to and probably never will with how old it is....I've beaten it before but wanted to replay it really quick since it's so short and really good...

September update:

Games not beaten:
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros. 3DS
Phantasy Star Online PC
Pokémon Black Version DS
Solar Striker Game Boy
Final Fantasy X HD Remaster Vita

Off the list: None
On the list: Final Fantasy X HD Remaster

Small update this month. I'm actually in the final dungeon on FFX, so I could finish by the end of the month anyway.

Gave up on Dawn of Mana.
Dawn of Mana starts off quite promising with its charming graphics and lush original sound track. A complex battle system utilizing sword combat, projectile magic, and a wily lasso attack further intrigue the player. Havok physics throughout the environment and above average enemy AI make combat an interesting affair. Unfortunately a lethargic camera requires constant baby sitting from the player, making battling and navigation become a chore. Level designs quickly degrade in quality, and by chapter 3 the player is left wandering confused as to where they are supposed to even go, with inaccurate way-points offering no help. Worst of all is the fact that at the beginning of every new chapter, the player's hard won character levels are reset to zero. This in an inexcusable design decision that goes completely against the feeling of any stat progression on behalf of the player's effort. This demoralizing inevitability makes the constant combat against ever respawning monsters feel like a waste of time. With a better camera, properly structured levels, and persistent player level stats, Dawn of Mana might have been a fun action-RPG. As it stands now, this game is just a beautiful pile of bad game design.

Agreed. That's exactly why I dislike the game as well.

It was the last game that Square Enix let Koichi Ishii have anything to do with, I think that says it all.

Oh hey, I never did a November update:

Games not beaten:
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros. 3DS
Phantasy Star Online PC
Pokémon Black Version DS
Solar Striker Game Boy
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire 3DS

Off the list: Final Fantasy, The Mysterious Murasame Castle
On the list: Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

Finished both the games I started last month. Pokémon was added, but I'm still working through it. It'll probably be done by 2015. The rest probably won't
