nice. I had a C64 when I was like 5. I wish I still had it. I have such a soft-spot for that thing.
But seriously if you buy a PC-FX before you build a new PC or upgrade the one you have now, I'm gonna e-punch you, cuz your priorities are way off and you're letting yourself miss so many games that you would actually really enjoy that you now use the excuse "I don't think my PC can run that game."
Someone on Maine craigslist had an FM Towns Marty for sale last year. I was intrigued, but he was asking like $350 for it. I have no idea if that's a standard price - either way it's too much for me.
I actually do have an Amiga CD32. Neat system if you're into retro European games. At this point I'd probably recommend picking up one of those as opposed to an actual Amiga. It's also backwards compatible with CDTV games.

Yeah would definitely go for an Amiga CD32 and I have been intrigued by the European games.
It is a bit pricey finding one lol..

I don't have many games unfortunately. I've done some emulation though.
Many of the best games are ports of great Amiga titles.
I enjoy Lemmings, The Lost Vikings, Heimdall 2, Beneath a Steel Sky, Cannon Fodder, Disposable Hero, and many more. It's a small game library so doing research on the games is pretty easy.
Be prepared for compatibility problems if you get a ntsc model. Pal would be better but you need to get a lot more stuff for it to work well. Amiga mouse is a must.
FM Towns Marty is awesome but be prepared to spend a lot of money on the games. I lucked out on a few games but all that means is I didn't pay more than $50.

You know how much the FM Towns Marty systems go for these days?
