Anyone know what is used for tech when doing Ad Hoc gameplay on the Vita? Been doing Spelunky co-op here at work with some people and yesterday was super laggy.

From IGN's Vita wiki:
Wireless Connections

3G: mobile network connectivity - AT&T in the United States (3G/WiFi model only)
Wifi: IEEE 802.11b/g/n (n = 1x1) (Infrastructure mode/Ad-hoc mode)
Bluetooth: 2.1+EDR (A2DP/AVRCP/HSP)
Remember that range and other wireless interference can introduce latency.

I'm really considering ordering a PlayStation TV Bundle. Although I'm not certain if I'll have a TV available to me when I move out. Sometimes I just want to play games on a large screen, although not often.

In my switch to going all digital (or rather, mostly digital) I have been reminded of a few things. Having everything to go right at your fingertips is awesome. Expensive memory cards are not. PSN isn't even close to being as good of a value as buying retail is, although it is getting better.

I've ranted about it quite a lot before, but, I'll say it again. Seeing this shit in the store still annoys me to no end:

A wild new USA Vita release appears!

I bought it today, because I value the subtly deep combat system, the complexities of the interweaving narrative, and the exciting struggle of the online battle systems.

Might just have to try a different part of the building. Thanks for the info!

So, I received the PS TV yesterday and returned it today. Sony needs to let this one bake in the oven a little more.

The PS4 remote play is pretty lousy (worse performance than on the Vita itself). The game compatibility is all sorts of jacked up. Netflix doesn't even work out of the box. I think Sony needs to quickly address a lot of these problems or else the average consumer will not be interested.

In other more positive news, the Senran Kagura physical set is really nice.

Were you doing remote play wifi or wired? It does say best performance if on same wired network. Wireless worked about as well as the vita for me.

Game compatibility worked fine for me, the games that were promised to work atleast.
