Lucasfilm is now on GOG.com

Post by MrEco »

So, anyone else catch the good news? I know I'm super excited, they've already got three games that aren't available on Steam, woohoo!

Bahh, I searched to see if anyone had already mentioned this, but I always used "LucasArts" or "Lucasfilm" in my searches. D:

Still, this deserves it's own thread. Yeah, totally. So people can discuss... stuff.

Outlaws and Their Finest Hour are day one buys for me. Xwing and Tie Fighter may be my anniversary gift "from my wife."

I'm hoping for Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle. Very happy to have access to X-wing and Tie Fighter again though.

I already still own a complete boxed talkie CD Indiana Jones so that is of no use, and amazingly those Star Wars games they put out you get both the old DOS CD version and then the Win98/XP era 3D recreations using the Xwing Alliance 3D models and I own that disc set still too. I'd be all over this with an instant download on all 3 of them especially at that price if I didn't.

I am tempted by Sam and Max, loved that one, hate the new ones. I've never played Monkey Island so may some month/year I free up my plate I'd give that a go, and I've never played that RPG either.

I am so in for Sam and Max. Been wanting to play that forever.

Sam and Max is so total boss. Still have my floppies and CD talkie version. Play it at least once a year still!

No.

Distribution rights for those are with Fox, not Disney. Atleast for another few years. Even when they lapse, they will never put a major motion picture up on a DRM free site.
