I am happy with this schedule! What games that need purchasing have already been purchased and I am ready to go! Time to be dead weight for my team!!!

Hell yeah dead weight!

My goal is to have my score not be the absolute lowest on my team at least one week.

Also guess it's time to dust off (literally) my MAME box.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

Exed - I don't have MAME setup on my new PC, can you post links to what we'll need for the games selected?

I was going to PM, but perhaps i'm not alone...

I am guessing that this will be a pretty tight contest between you and me. I'm also pretty confident that Doc will carry us and that you and I will just need to basically beat out chumps like noise or TSTR in order to elevate our team into the winner's circle.

Now I need to see if my computer is gonna act stupid or not. How do you get Jamestown? Is it only on Steam?

Figures on Dimahoo. I have both Ketsui and EspGaluda, and the mame option gets picked.

Thoughts on Jamestown? I think we should do it on one of the harder levels - the only problem with that is that some of us already have it unlocked, others will need to unlock it which can take some time until you figure it out. Since this is strictly for score, should we just pick highest score on say stage 1, regardless of level? I'm open to ideas.

Harder levels are harder...but they also present more scoring opportunities...so...it could work that way.

@Donnie - have you played Dimahoo? I know you don't like MAME, but I think you will love this game.

I like this idea, it would give it a Recca type feel and would allow for more folks to feel like they can compete without getting a 1cc.

Jamestown should preferably be on Legendary difficulty, as 'Normal' only consists of the first 3 levels and 'Hard' the first 4 levels (there are 5 stages in total). It's possible to credit-feed through the easier difficulty levels to unlock the harder ones, but if people are having trouble unlocking them, then they should probably say so before the start of week 2 so we can come up with an alternate challenge...

If there are any non-Steam users, it's also available on Gamersgate and Desura, where you can download a DRM-free version or use the key to unlock it on Steam.

Oh, there's also the DLC, which gives you the choice of four extra ships...
