I seem to find myself more and more frustrated with people who deride happiness and friendliness; people who feel the constant need to argue over right and wrong and view the world with a cynical sense of self worth. I find this frustration happens the more and more I interact with others. Even though I encounter more people who smile and accept the joy I try and spread over those who refuse it and look at me strangely for my grin, I can not help but feel that frustration.

I can not accept a world where people would choose unhappiness, choose suffering over being comforted with the mere idea of existence. People say it is being an idealist, or even naive to think that, but is it worse to just accept unhappiness and let it overcome your environment? A smile and a compliment go a long way in this world and even if people misinterpret it, you still should do it at every turn, because people want to be happy naturally and sometimes, they just need someone out there to say it is ok to be.
