Yeah, I can think of better games on Steam that could have been selected for this poll, like the Siter Skain games, Exceed 2 & 3, Crimzon Clover, etc.

I don't know a ton about STEAM shooters so I went with what I knew a ton here already had (Jamestown) and what I knew a bunch bought when it was on sale (Danmaku), I went with Platypus because I wanted to provide an option that was available outside of STEAM to those averse, and we'd already done Ikaruga and Crimson Clover recently.

Yeah, but almost everyone stuck to playing Simple Mode on Crimzon Clover when it was shmup of the month last year, which is almost a different game than any of the World Ignition modes (no break/double break in Simple, for a start).

I tried playing some shmup on my tablet a while ago and was like "uh can't see anything w/ my finger on the friggin' screen."

Yeah, and I think to make up for that hindrance they make the games quite a bit easier by letting you zip across the screen faster and dodge impossible shit.

Which is why it was a dumb question.

I have no way to play either Danmaku or Jamestown. Default vote went to Platypus since I actually own that.

Just tablets since I don't really have much use for a PC. The old laptops that I do have won't run either game, I just use em for emulation.
