Oh how I love the lists that Craig makes. . .

Post by tbeeghly »

I just picked up a Model 2 Sega Saturn, 1 3D controller, 1 standard controller, 1 3rd party memory cartridge, 2 copies of Nights, Virtua Fighter, Daytona USA, Virtua Cop, Legacy, Scorch, Hi Octane, and Tomb Raider. All for the money shot inducing price of only 25 greenbacks.

That was a pretty good deal. I check it (craigs list) pretty regularly but all the ppl near me want $50 for a saturn with a couple of crappy games and no memory card.

That's a sweet bargain. How many of those games did you already own? Are you going to keep it, or resell?

This is my first Saturn, so all this stuff is knew to me. I'm gonna chip it myself and play Die Hard Arcade and Radiant Silvergun till I die, then maybe I'll sell it, but just maybe.

Ooh, if it's your first Saturn don't sell it at all! I've got a respectable collection for mine and I love it to death. Definitely get Die Hard Arcade - it's among the more affordable cool Saturn games.

So I plan on chipping it, but until I get a chip, I was gonna do the swap trick. I read the tutorials on how to do it on a model 2, and they say its harder, but how many of you guys have tried it?
