+1. It's pretty difficult, but extremely satisfying to beat.

Interesting. You know the ambient music that plays in the Gamecube menu? Apparently if you play it at about 19 times the original speed it's the Famicom Disk System music.

It took me forever to figure that out as a kid. Though, we did not have the internet back then. You just had to pound away at a game until you got it.

I actually did know that. It's a cool sound.

As a kid I remember reading that games like Zelda, Castlevania, and Mario 2 were "originally released for the Famicom Disk System." So I always pictured it as the entirely separate console that existed one generation before the Famicom.

I think I've heard that before...though the ending to that video was just disturbing o_O

So now the Bayonetta fight music, awesome though it might be, is stuck in my head. Forever

I was writing a paper about Diddy Kong Racing, and I mispelled Diddy as Diddly. Thus, I immediately pictured Ned Flanders in the game, and now I can't stop laughing.

nah I don't think so dood. You can make the jump in the NES version. The DOS version is infamous for being a port that's broken and un-beatable. Though supposedly they fixed that part in the UK "Ninja Heroes" version of the DOS game.
