That's what I was wondering. I mean it is an easily understood and potentially useful marker, I'm just curious if there was a problem with some people being agitated when spoken to that it needed addressing. I could see more widespread use for cosplayers at conventions to indicate if they wanted to be stopped for pictures or if they just wanted to do their thing in costume without beign stopped every 3 minutes.

I'm honestly surprised this hasn't been implemented before. 'Course, the simplest solution is usually the one that's overlooked.

That gif doesn't help answer my question. They're using a system for autism awareness to address communication at a convention, so I am guessing it is likely there are a lot of autistic fans, but I am unaware of the community. I don't watch the show and have little contact with the fan base beyond one of my stepbrothers.

It was a serious question.

I don't think there is a disproportionate amount of MLP fans on the spectrum, no moreso than any other show (except maybe Thomas the Tank Engine). Mainly the "adult" fanbase is just a bunch of socially stunted weirdos. No disrespect to socially stunted weirdos (been there, did that), but it's true.

I'm not a fan of, nor familiar with the MLP or it's fan base. I think that it is a little crude to put them all in a box like that though TSTR. I mean, do I find it kind of weird? Yes. But, I find loving Star Wars to the point of collecting toys and going to conventions weird, don't even get me started on Pokemon, Anime, Manga, etc... Everyone has their things dude. I know you weren't trying to be offensive, but I think a "Brony" (Is that correct term?) may not agree. Since there is at least one on the site it may have been a poor choice of words.

Still mad love for you TSTR, just saying...
