I may be echoing someone here because I'm too lazy to read all the posts, but a couple of slight suggestions:

-Vote for all of the weeks at once. That way we can have more time to start securing copies / finding decent emulation.

-Use a SNES or Genesis game to the first week. If you have access to RB, you can easily emulate either on just about any junk computer or phone. Everyone will be in automatically on the first week.

Just a heads up too, the SFC version of Fantastic Parodius isn't 100% with the arcade version. There are some areas where they reduced enemy counts to make it work. Minor differences, but it could certainly show up in scores.

I'm totally cool with running it (especially since i'm pretty close to a no miss on the SFC version at the moment) but just wanted to point that difference out.

Exed, why are you so averse to Steam? If a cheap game was selected would it really bother you so much to create a free Steam account to get it? Are you really worried about Steam's "evil DRM"?

Does some of region free 360 stuff run well or have roms on MAME? I know off the top of my head that there's MMP/PS, Espgaluda ll, Eschatos/Judgment Silversword, and DDP: DFK.

I believe it's a no on Eschatos, Ginga Force and Bullet Soul. The newer CAVE stuff does work though requires some tweaking iirc; dunpeal can help us out if needed, but I also wanted to try to not flood it with CAVE only - I think right now 1/3 of choices are CAVE and I don't want to go beyond that if possible.

2 more needed to get us to 7 teams. 5 more to get us to 8 teams which will mean we have grown since our first tourney...

Also, i'm moving steam week to the 2nd week so those who need to install it will have time.

It's not so much disrespect as to your nice looking banners, but just that we did so well last year and my team members pledge to be playing more this year, so we can't be "dickin" around anymore
