There were also some changes to monster and esper sprites(some of which were censored in different ways), a lot of recolorzation, different bugs were fixed (including the Evade Bug)while new ones appear, changes to certain spells, new dungeons, new espers, changes to the color palette, etc.

yes just that. But some of the original translation's lines just lived in infamy and it seemed weird to change them.

I'll be playing 6 on the gba. With the sound and color patch.

What strategy are you using?

Is that the one with the 2 nodes?
If your strategy is to destroy both nodes, perhaps look at which one is healing and which one is attacking. They are a red herring, designed to distract you from the main boss.

I use slow on each of the forms. Use the right elemental attacks. When it turns into the tornado thing, I think it's last form, I'm out of magic and it decimates me. Every time. I'm only level 50 ish. Never felt the need to grind much. This is the first problem I have had in the game. Never had a single game over until this hehe.

Edit: Beat it

Oh, now it makes more sense where you are. :)
When she turns into the tornado don't attack her. Use Kain's jump...he'll knock her out of tornado mode so you can keep attacking/healing. If she stays in tornado mode, she'll probably wipe you out.
